Can’t Make It To St. Pete? Here’s How You Can Help…

The Huskies are back bowling and there’s no complaining about that. However, the game falling on the morning after Christmas is going to make the decision to travel, much more difficult for some.

If you cannot make the game, but still want to support the Huskies and their efforts in the first bowl game appearance since 2010, the university has posted the following of what you can do. To donate to the UConn foundation, visit here.

UConn Football is going bowling in Florida! The Huskies will take on Marshall in the St. Petersburg Bowl on Saturday, December 26, at Tropicana Field. The game will kickoff at 11:00am EST and will be nationally televised by ESPN.

While we encourage all UConn fans to show their support of our football team by joining us in St. Petersburg to cheer on the Huskies, we recognize that some of you may not be able to travel.

If you cannot attend the game, you can still show your support by making a donation to the UConn Football program. Donations will help to ensure the ongoing success of UConn Football by providing enhancement and enrichment opportunities for our student-athletes.

As a reminder, with the end of the calendar year approaching, any donation to UConn Athletics is tax deductible. In order for your gift to be considered a 2015 tax-deductible charitable donation, it must be made, received or postmarked before midnight on December 31. Please consult your tax advisor.

Please visit the Bowl Game Central page uconnbowl.com for the most updated information.

Thank you for your support of UConn Athletics and our football program. Go Huskies!
